A kitchen is the hardest-working room in most New York homes, and it is often the one with the least room to spare. ABF Construction Management provides kitchen renovation in Manhattan, NY, and kitchen remodeling in Brooklyn and throughout the city for apartments, townhouses, and homes that need a kitchen that works better and lasts.
We manage the whole project: the layout, the trades, the materials, and the schedule. You get one team paying close attention to every phase, so your new kitchen is finished properly and in a timely manner.
Kitchen Remodeling from Layout to Final Fixture
Good kitchen remodeling starts with how you actually use the space. We begin by learning your intended goals, whether that is more counter space, better storage, a more open layout, or simply replacing what has worn out. Then we build a plan around them.
What a Kitchen Project Includes
Depending on your plans, a kitchen renovation may include demolition and rubbish removal, new cabinetry, countertops, backsplashes, Flooring, plumbing for sinks and appliances, electrical work for circuits and lighting, ventilation, plastering, and painting. We coordinate each of these in the right order so no step undoes the one before it.
Custom cabinetry is often the centerpiece. If you want storage built to fit your space exactly, our Closets & Custom-Built Cabinetry work carries into the kitchen as well.
Apartment and Townhouse Kitchens
Renovating a kitchen in a New York City apartment brings its own challenges: tight footprints, building rules, limited work hours, and neighbors on every side. We plan for those conditions from the start and keep the work organized so your building management and your neighbors see a properly managed job.
Townhouse and larger home kitchens often involve moving walls or combining rooms. Our background in architecture helps us review those changes on paper before anything is opened up.
Working With Your Designer
We are not interior designers, but we are very capable of helping you achieve what you have designed and planned. If you have a kitchen designer or architect, we work together with them as a team. If you do not, we will help with planning to the extent your project needs.
We serve kitchen projects throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx.
