Storage is one of the most common reasons New Yorkers call us. ABF Construction Management builds custom closets in Manhattan, NY, and custom cabinetry in Queens, along with storage projects throughout Brooklyn and the Bronx. When space is limited, storage built to fit your room exactly makes a real difference.
Our carpentry work is managed with the same close attention as a full renovation. We measure carefully, plan the details with you, and install the finished work so it is properly fitted and built to last.
Custom Cabinetry & Storage Units in Queens
Ready-made storage rarely fits the walls, corners, and ceiling heights of older city buildings. Custom cabinetry and custom-built storage units are designed around the space you have, so nothing is wasted and everything has a place.
Closets Built for How You Live
A closet should work for the way you actually use it. We build reach-in and walk-in closets, add shelving, rods, drawers, and doors, and rework existing closets that no longer do their job. We start by learning your intended goals, then plan the layout around what you need to store.
Cabinetry for Every Room
Custom cabinetry is not only for kitchens, though our Kitchens projects often center on it. We also build cabinetry for bathrooms, living rooms, home offices, and laundries, including built-ins that turn awkward alcoves into useful storage.
We are not interior designers, but we are very capable of helping you achieve what you have designed and planned. If you have drawings from a designer or architect, we work together with them as a team. Our background in architecture also helps when a built-in has to work around existing structure, pipes, or wiring.
Storage Units and Storerooms
For homes and offices, we build custom storage units and storerooms that keep supplies, records, and equipment organized. Commercial clients use this work to make better use of back rooms and closets that were never planned well to begin with.
Custom storage often goes hand in hand with other improvements. It often makes sense to pair it with Flooring or Painting & Plastering so the whole room is finished at once, with one team and one schedule from start to finish.
