In a New York City home, the laundry room is often a closet, a corner of the kitchen, or a small room that has to work hard. ABF Construction Management handles laundry room renovation in NYC, remodeling laundries in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx so they fit the space you have and work efficiently.
We are general contractors, so we coordinate everything a laundry depends on: plumbing, electrical, venting, cabinetry, and lighting. One team manages the job from planning to the final walkthrough, and you always know who to call.
Lighting Installation in NYC for Laundry Rooms and Beyond
Good lighting turns a cramped laundry into a usable workspace. Our lighting installation in NYC covers overhead fixtures, under-cabinet lights, and task lighting where you sort and fold. We plan the lighting together with the rest of the room, and we also update lighting in kitchens, bathrooms, closets, and living spaces as part of larger projects.
Planning a Laundry That Fits
A good laundry starts with a plan. We look at where the washer and dryer will go, whether stacked or side-by-side units make more sense, how doors will swing, and how much room you need to load, unload, and fold.
In many NYC apartment buildings, building rules affect whether and where a washer and dryer can be installed. We review those requirements early so your plan works for your building before any work begins.
Plumbing, Electrical & Venting
Every laundry relies on systems you do not see: water supply lines, drains, the right electrical capacity, and proper dryer venting. We plan and coordinate this work as part of the project, so walls are opened once and closed once. Learn more about our Plumbing, Electrical & HVAC services.
Storage, Surfaces & Finishes
We build cabinets and shelving for detergent and supplies, add folding counters and utility sinks where space allows, and install flooring and tile that stand up to water. Painting and finishing work complete the room, so your laundry is as practical as it looks.
